Bringing Storytelling and Strategy to Learning
At its core, Side Quest delivers engaging out-of-school programs for New Zealand’s senior primary and intermediate students (aged 7-14). We focus on allowing kids to build critical thinking and teamwork skills through tabletop-adventure-based holiday and after-school programs.
Our Services
​We weave educational opportunities into every adventure. Students might write a short backstory for their D&D character to strengthen creative writing skills, or calculate the probability of hitting enemy units on the Warhammer battlefield as part of a statistical inquiry. These activities are designed to complement and reinforce the types of learning challenges teachers pose in classrooms across New Zealand.
